The SUPERFLEX roofing system is the most sate-of-the-art membrane roof system on the market today.
SUPERFLEX roofing membrane is used in conjunction with Alpha's water based adhesive and solvent based sealants,  having been specifically engineered to provide premium performance and flexibility for the demanding roof designs of today's RV.

Take a look at the benefits of switching from EPDM to SuperFlex Roofing.

Kit will ship in two boxes and Includes:

  • 35 Feet x 8 1/2 Feet SuperFlex Roofing Roll - Folded
  • 5 tubes of Alpha Systems 1021 Self Leveling Sealant (11 oz)
  • 4 Rolls of Butyl Putty Tape (1/8" Thick x 3/4" W x 30' L)
  • 2 Gallon of Alpha Systems Rubber Roof Adhesive (8010)

Features & Specifications SuperFlex Roofing Roll:

  • Single-ply membrane that is approximately half of the weight of EPDM
  • .165 lbs/sq feet compared to EPDM at .29 lbs/sq foot
  • Will not chalk, fade, or leave streaks down the side of your RV
  • Brilliant UV performance and is resistant to mold, algae, and fungus
  • Better puncture resistance than EPDM at .028 Thick
  • Non-skid surface for better traction. Install roofing with smooth side down, facing glue.
  • Color is same throughout substrate
  • Will not shrink or crack (100% solids sealant)
  • Stretches easier so you can get a perfect, tight fit
  • Can be easily repaired.

Features & Specifications Alpha Systems 1021 Self Leveling Sealant:

  • 1021 HIGH SOLIDS SEALANT is a one part all weather self-leveling sealant designed and formulated to provide excellent weather resistance.

Features & Specifications Butyl Putty Tape:

  • It features high solids, low V.O.C. content, and no hazardous air pollutants (HAP).
  • This compound provides good adhesion to a variety of substrates.
  • This product has good low temperature resistance and will not crack at -40oF.
  • Typically used in RV applications where a long-term weather tight seal with good ozone and UV resistance are required.
  • Cured sealant is paintable.
  • Surfaces should be free of dirt, oil, or other contaminants. A solvent cleaned surface is optimum.
  • BASE: EPDM
  • SOLVENT:   Heptane
  • VISCOSITY:  80,000 - 200,000 cps
  • COVERAGE:  380 lineal ft/gal
  • COLOR: White
  • MINIMUM APPLICATION TEMP: 60ËšF
  • CAUTION:  THIS MATERIAL MAY BE HARMFUL OR FATAL IF SWALLOWED.  IF SWALLOWED, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING.  CALL A PHYSICIAN.  THIS MATERIAL IN THE LIQUID OR VAPOR PHASES IS EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. KEEP AWAY FROM SPARKS OR OPEN FLAME.  DON'T SMOKE.Prolonged breathing of vapors may cause headaches and even unconsciousness. Avoid prolonged breathing and use good ventilation.
  • Non-hardening, pliable butyl putty tape.
  • COLOR: Gray
  • Waterproofs overlapping metal seams.
  • Butyl tape is the only putty tape recommended for use in direct contact with EPDM (rubber) roofing material, as regular "putty tape" oozes petroleum products which can damage EPDM.
  • 1/8" high X 3/4" wide - Roll 30 feet long

Features & Specifications Alpha Systems 8010 Adhesive:

  • 8010 is a technically advanced scientific formula of water base adhesive designed for use as a bonding adhesive for single ply roofing membranes.
  • DESIGNED TO BOND: EPDM, PVC, and Hypalon to wood fiberboard, plywood, EPS, any typical polyisocyanurate insulation, gypsum, concrete, etc.
  • 8010 may be applied by spray, roll coating, or by brush.
  • Grows stronger and adhears more with age.
  • Remains flexible to compensate for expansion and contraction of the membrane itself.
  • COLOR: White
  • SOLVENT: Water Based
  • ADHESIVE TYPE: Modified Acrylic
  • COLOR: White
  • COVERAGE: 160-200 sq ft/gal (1side @ 8-10 mil)
  • NET WEIGHT: 8.50 lbs/gal
  • SOLIDS CONTENT: 68%
  • VISCOSITY: 10,000-15,000 cps (Brookfield RVF)
  • 8010 may be applied by spray, roll coating, or by brush.
(When using spray application an Aro 650095 4.25 inch air motor with a 30:1 ration pump @ 80 psi using a 651-500 gun equipped with #651551 quick clean and spray tip #T.C. 1565 with 0.015 orifice or similar equipment is recommended).
  • For maximum bond strength a two-sided application is recommended.
If one surface is porous, such as plywood or fiberboard, it is acceptable to wet laminate the membrane to the substrate.
If both surfaces are non-porous, such as EPS or ISO apply the adhesive to both surfaces 4 - 5 mils and allow to dry approximately 20 - 30 minutes, depending on conditions.
  • Adhesive will turn from white to clear when it is dry.
  • Apply membrane to roof deck and roll or broom down sheet to assure 100% contact area.
  • DO NOT FREEZE - KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
